THROWING TRAINER
Overview of the Role
CPHQ is fast growing, from 1 client just 2 years ago, and projected to be 15-20 Summer 2020. We are looking for someone who is ambitious in the baseball world. This position will be best filled with someone who has experience in throwing biomechanics, and diving into data to help write and implement throwing programs.
This job will start in March with in-house training, as well as any out-of-house training that we find will most help you along the right path.
Approximate Hours
March & April – 10-15 hours per week starting at 4pm Tuesday - Friday, 8:30am Saturday – Sunday (Monday off)
May-August – 20-30 hours per week starting at 2pm on the weekdays, 10am Saturday - Sunday
Key Responsibilities
Assess, train and reassess all trainees assigned to you
Research and introduce new protocols
Miscellaneous tasks such as posting to social media, video editing, etc.
Help CPHQ improve
Coordinate with other trainers to maximize results of each trainee
Pre-requisites
Playing experience at the collegiate level (pitching preferred)
Analytical and data driven
Ambitious, looking to work in baseball long term
Very organized
Preferences
Degree in biomechanics or similar
CSCS or similar
Salary
Will depend on what pre-requisites and preferences you have. Starting range will be $15-30 per hour with many opportunities for increases and other benefits.
STRENGTH COACH

This position will be best filled with someone who has experience in strength and conditioning, and ideally an idea of throwing biomechanics.
This job will start in March with in-house training, as well as any out-of-house training that we find will most help you along the right path.

March & April – 5-10 hours per week starting at 5pm Tuesday - Friday, 9:30am Saturday – Sunday (Monday off)
May-August – 10-15 hours per week starting at 3pm on the weekdays, 11am Saturday - Sunday
